A Coffee Break Conversation with Ben Curtis from Notes in Spanish

We’re back with another episode of Coffee Break Conversations, a series in which we talk about life, learning and languages. Last week, we heard the story of Yevgeni, a Coffee Break Spanish learner and, this week, we’re continuing our Spanish theme as we’re speaking to Ben Curtis from the Notes in Spanish podcast. We discuss the importance of making mistakes when learning a language and how a little language can go a long way!

  1. This is great. I’ve been using both Coffee Break and Notes in Spanish for a few years now.
    Both are fantastic resources.

    Thanks to you both.

  2. Very interesting, thank you. I checked out Notes In Spanish and downloaded a couple of podcasts to listen too. My initial thought was “wow, they speak so quickly!” Then I realised my iPod was playing them at 1.5x speed! I think it’s a great idea to use several sources when learning any subject, including languages and I shall explore Notes on Spanish further.

    ¡Pájaros! Need I say more?!
