      I pondered why I find the phrases presented in A Flavor of German so memorable, and then ran across a quote from Nassim Nicholas Taleb: “You need a story to displace a story. Metaphors and stories are far more potent (alas) than ideas; they are also easier to remember and more fun to read.” Your podcasts’ narratives of conversations between two people really do the trick. Nice work, and thank you!

      Danke! I grew up hearing German in the household, and I am now trying to regain (or just gain in the first place!) comfort with the German accent and increase my knowledge of vocabulary and grammar. These podcasts are great! Another season would be wonderful!
