Season 3 – Lesson 32 – Coffee Break Spanish

In lesson 32 we’re still concentrating on Colombian Spanish, and Mark and Carolina discuss the music and literature of Colombia, and typical Colombian expressions including the word paila. In the second act of this episode, Mark discusses impersonal verbs such as apetecer, gustar and faltar. Please note that lesson 32 of Season 3 was originally known as lesson 332 of Coffee Break Spanish. We have renumbered the lessons of each season as lessons 1-40 to make things more simple for our listeners.

  1. Hey I noticed the was no ‘download’ link next to this lesson.

By the way, I haven’t listened to any of Showtime Spanish yet, but I just finished CBS and loved it! I found myself singing along to the theme music almost every time. You guys did a great job composing the lessons! I was thoroughly impressed at both my level of entertainment with the show and at the wonderful content each lessons provided. I’m really excited to start listening to Showtime Spanish!

  2. Greetings,

I continue to enjoy my premium subscription to Showtime Spanish. For some reason I have not received the pdfs for lessons lessons 36-40. What are I doing wrong?

Have there been any follow-up shows to the 40th program of Showtime Spanish?

    Thanks,

    Doug Call

    • All the pdf guides should be in the feed. You could perhaps try to refresh your feed in iTunes: right-click (control-click on a Mac) on the feed and choose “Update Podcast”. Failing that you can go to the Show Time Spanish members’ page and download the pdf guides there: https://coffeebreaklanguages.com/members/sts-seasons-1-and-2/

There has been no follow-up to the 40th programme of STS, but we are working on a third season of Coffee Break Spanish which will be similar in style and level.
