Your lessons are awesome! As a non English speaker, the Scottish accent was difficult to me. It was Kara's sweet voice and both's wits that made me manage to understand. I also like that you pronounce Spanish clearly, and Kara as well. Just by listening, I can already spell the vocabularies out correctly. The contents are useful and are delivered in an incredibly interesting way, especially lesson 14 that I smile every time i listen to it. I really loved the interaction between Mark and Kara and the melody of the silly song :-) Literally I enjoyed in every lesson. Thanks for making this fantastic course. It is the best ever!

I've been learning Spanish for over a year now and have found your podcasts a great help for the spoken word. Occasionally though, it would be helpful if you could actually spell our the word your saying so that I can look it up later. One example is "quesiera" instead of "quiro", when asking for something politely. Its taken me a while to find it.... Muchas gracias, hasta pronto. Jacs

I think we all have to be like in the Michael Jackson song, "I'm talking to the man in the mirror and I'm asking HIM to change his ways!". Jamila, what can you personally do for YOURSELF that would make this experience more amenable to you?

I put myself in a quiet room with my headphones on and get with it!!! If I dont understand a Scottish coloquialism, I simply ask myself what that might mean in my southern dialect, and things become more clear to me. You really will learn more by walking in someone's shoes rather than stomping on their toes.

Kara is wonderful, just lovely to hear and work with alongside Mark. After reading Jamila's comments, I understand completely when my mom used to say, "Watch ya mouth now child!"

Ever considered a program in Italian?

I am an EU "B2" in Spanish, by exam, and find these lessons to be a terrific review.

Dear Mark / Kara,

My colleague and I have downloaded your lessons and listen to them on our phones. We love the pace its just right to keep us interested. I have to say that your Scottish accents and of course the format of the lessons keep us hooked. The both of us particularly liked the lesson where your some came on, I think lesson 4.

Once we get a little more into the rhythm we would like to buy the PDF guides, they might help reinforce the learning. For now we have many other websites and a book to refer to for grammar and words.

PS: Got my wife hooked on Coffee Break French, she is going on a business trip where she hopes to test some of the learning.

Great Work. Thanks
