I just noticed that near the end, when you are learning to say likes and dislikes, the question is posed, “te gusta tu trabajo”…wouldnt it be “te gusta tu trabajas”?or however trabajar is spelled in the tu form, i believe its trabaja. Just wanted to make sure. I adore your show though, its really helping me to remember high school spanish, and prepare me for college spanish. Keep up the great work guys!

No Faith, because in this sentence trabajo is the noun, not the 1st person singular of trabajar.

How would you ask people “What do you like to do?” ==> Que quieres (verb)? to which you might respond, “Me gusta la musica…etc.”

You could say ¿qué quieres hacer?
Or, ¿qué te gusta hacer?

Hi Mark and Kara,
Thank you for this resource!
When you use the formal sentence: “Le gusta su trabajo?” do you need to use “usted” ie “Le gusta su trabajo usted?”

Learning Spanish with you is absolutely wonderful for me as I used to study it through really boring books. My native language is Russian so I enjoy the advantage of practising two foreign languages simultaneously. Thank you very much, Mark and Kara
